Gratinated fish with garlic mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillets of about 100-125 grams (or any other white fish of your choice)
  • Gratings of 1 lime (or 1/2 lemon)
  • 2 tablespoons Organic No Sugar Mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Pepper and salt
  • Paprika powder

  1. Preheat the oven to 155 degrees (electric oven).
  2. Press the garlic cloves with a garlic press or chop very finely. Mix the garlic puree and lemon zest into the mayonnaise.
  3. Place the cod fillets on a baking sheet lined baking dish. Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper and paprika powder to taste.
  4. Put the fillets in the oven for 10 minutes. Take them out and spread each fillet with a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  5. Put the dish under the grill on the highest setting for a few more minutes, until the mayonnaise turns a light brown color. Note that every grill is different so keep an eye on the fish. Remove the fish from the oven when the mayonnaise turns light brown.
  6. Tip: Delicious with baked potatoes or a baked potato and a green salad.
